Ghana Health Service (GHS) on the 13th of April presented a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport to the Ghana College of Physician and Surgeons (GCPS).
The vehicle was handed to the College by Dr Patrick Kuma Aboagye, the Director-General of the GHS, who was accompanied by Dr Franklin Asiedu-Bekoe, Director of Public Health, GHS. The donation was received by Prof Richard Adanu, Rector of the College; with him were, Dr Henry Lawson, Vice Rector, Mr Prosper Anku Gbena, Head of Accounts, GCPS and Mrs Henrietta Ferguson-Laing, Head of Administration.
This kind gesture by the GHS is to support the College in the management of its transport challenges. The Rector upon receipt of the donation, indicated with gratitude, that the vehicle would be a helpful contribution to the College as it continues to exercise its mandate as the premier institution of postgraduate medical education.
