The Academic Board of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons in its bid to improve the research acumen of Senior Residents and the quality of dissertations submitted by Senior Residents, approved the Diploma in Project Design and Management (DPDM) course.
The DPDM is a one-year, part-time hands-on course that trains participants in the rubrics of research. The course involves four quarterly modules of face to face contact, lasting four days per session.
At the end of the course, participants will be awarded a Diploma in Project Design and Management by the College.
The College encourages all Members, Residents and Senior Residents who are still in training to take advantage of the course. There will be 2 cohorts:

Course outline and regulations regarding assignment submission. Identify an area of research and draft your proposal. |

Types of data and methods of collection. Submit your application for ethical approval. Begin collecting data (only if you have received ethical clearance. Otherwise revise your proposal and resubmit for ethical clearance). |
