Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology progressively expand the knowledge base of residents, develop their attitudes and clinical, research and overall judgement skills in preparation for specialist primary responsibility of providing high quality women’s healthcare and train other healthcare providers.

The training is designed for fully registered medical practitioners within Ghana. The prospective trainee must be able to satisfy the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons that his/her training and experience fit him to undertake the programme of study.
