Rector of the College, Prof Adanu at the 18th Annual General and Scientific Meeting last year, 2021 announced that the College was in the process of setting up its own Computer-based Testing (CBT) Center. This, he stated was to enable the College conduct Computer-based Testing Examinations from its own premises. Following this announcement, the College has made strides to the realization of this project; which culminated in the debut of a fully IT-equipped facility during the March exams, which took place from 8th to 18th of March 2022.
The center currently houses 71 computers in a fully air-conditioned space and are supported by a high-speed wireless internet system. The College intends to supplement this number with 36 more computers later in the year.
Participants of the examination when reached for comments, expressed delight at the optimal functioning of equipment at the center. They were also content with the quick responses they received to requests for assistance from IT personnel that were present during the duration of the exams.
Mr. Patrick Ansah, Head of the IT Unit of the College was pleased with these remarks. He added that the IT Unit was still at work with making improvements that will heighten the quality of the CBT Center.
